i visited again, i knew this building is gorgeous. i saw real improvements happening, the outside area had more tidying. my different room overlooked a pretty garden with nice seating. the hotel felt airy and warm, which i love. opening windows and warm radiators felt useful! i found it clean this time.
I just noticed a slight stain on one of the towels. Otherwise, everything was spot on.

the staff welcomed me warmly and cheerfully, and were very thoughtful. they remembered my gluten-free dietary needs. i received really personalized care.

the breakfast was very nice! i could eat lovely meals everyday, and , made me happy. i started my days with very delicious things to eat. i felt good every single morning thanks to the food.

i appreciated the lovely towels, the good bed linen, and the well-furnished room. the big tv had good reception, and the wifi worked very well. i enjoyed every single corner of my room! i felt so relaxed.

mixed feelings about the stay
stained showerfirm bed
I was a bit disappointed with some aspects. the bathroom wasn't very clean. I noticed some stains around the shower. the bed was quite firm and not very comfortable for me. also, the tv turned itself on twice during the night, once at midnight and again at 6am. it disrupted my sleep quite a bit.

I stayed for a few nights. the location was great for my needs. the breakfast was good too. I especially liked the freshly cooked eggs. the staff seemed very friendly. They always greeted me with a smile.
The sealant in the shower had some black mould. an open bottle of shower gel was left by previous guests. the dated decor was something i could forgive. cleanliness was lacking.
